ABOUT L&M LANDSCAPE DESIGN
We are a small business that takes pride in providing personal and professional service paying attention to detail. We started our business in 1986 while finishing 2 degrees at Cal Poly in Ornamental Horticulture. Mike focused on landscape construction and getting his contractors license while Libby concentrated on landscape design and plants. This combination has provided a unique ability to meet the needs of many.

We also provide residential and commercial landscape maintenance along the central coast from Arroyo Grande to Cayucos, San Luis Obispo to Atascadero. We provide other horticultural practices such as rose and dormant tree pruning to identifying insect and disease problems and suggesting environmentally safe products to control them.
OUR EXPERIENCE
In our 26 plus years in business many people ask about our qualifications and experience. While attending Cal Poly we studied many topics that have given us the knowledge and confidence in our field. Some of these were over 1000 plant types, diseases and pests, soils and fertilizers, and pest control. We attend landscape conferences yearly, update our QAC (Qualified Applicators Certificate), Gardeners Certificate, Contractors License, and we are certified in wall and deck building.

We have always been the outdoor type and feel so blessed everyday to live and work outdoors here on the beautiful central coast. We are privileged to make this area even more beautiful one house at a time by installing creative and artistic landscapes. Our goal is to provide honest, professional services to all our customers with integrity! From outdoor living rooms with stone fireplaces and outdoor kitchens to succulent gardens, we want to create Your Perfect Outdoor Living Space!
We love the landscape design and construction part of our business and are always interested in new ideas and technique. We have built all types of hardscapes, pergolas, decks, walls, outdoor kitchens, gazebos, sheds, playhouses, fireplaces, all types of planting designs.
